"Hello, my name is Kate, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my Beloved Happy Go Lucky Brother, Ashton, who turned 49 on the 2nd of October and has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. His prognosis is devastating: without chemotherapy, doctors estimate 6-8 months, and with chemotherapy, perhaps up to 12 months.

After much consideration, Ashton has chosen to forgo chemotherapy, prioritizing quality of life over enduring the gruelling side effects of treatment.

His wish is to live his remaining days as fully as possible, surrounded by love, and to create beautiful memories.

Ashton has lived a simple life and has never travelled far, only visiting England and Scotland. One of his deepest hopes is to see more of the world while he still can, including visiting our brother and childhood friends in San Francisco for one final reunion.

This chance to travel, reconnect, and experience moments of joy would mean everything to him—and to our family.
