Help Ashton Heal: Support for My Beloved Cat’s Emergency Care

My sweet boy Ashton has been with me since 2011, when I rescued him after a major flood. He’s now 13 years old and has always been a healthy, happy cat—until recently. After coming home from a long shift at work, I found Ashton straining to urinate and clearly in distress. I rushed him to Cornell, where he was triaged immediately.

The vets were concerned right away—his heart rate was dangerously low, even though he was alert and responsive. He was admitted overnight for testing and care to find the cause of the blockage. Thankfully, they were able to stabilize him, but the exact cause remains unclear.

Ashton is now back home recovering, but the cost of his emergency care was overwhelming. I’m asking for help to cover the medical bills that saved his life. Any amount means the world to both of us—thank you for helping me keep my best friend safe and well.
