It started as an innocent spot on his foot, but it grew into melanoma- an aggressive form of skin cancer. Meet Ashok Prajapati, a 29-year-old warrior battling against a relentless enemy threatening his life and his dreams. The key to his progress lies in immunotherapy, specifically Nivolumab 40 mg- prescribed every 15 days and Chemotherapy tab 250 mg- requiring administration at 28-day intervals. This represents a significant departure from the previous treatment regimen, which consisted of three administrations of Nivolumab 240 mg with a 15-day gap between each dose. Unfortunately, as a course of following the earlier treatment, a pleural effusion has emerged, necessitating pleurodesis. Regrettably, as a consequence of these medical interventions, only 10-15% of Ashok’s right lung remains functional. 



Ashok's journey so far has been filled with surgeries, radiation, and grueling therapies, but he's never lost hope. As his diagnosis- Malignant Metastasis Melanoma is a rare case in Asia, healthcare professionals in Nepal are facing challenges resulting in misdirections and medication errors that have severely compromised the functionality of his right lung. As a result, Ashok is actively pursuing medical treatment in countries renowned for their advanced medical services, including the United States, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and India. Hence, dearest friends, family, colleagues, and my fellow Samaritans, we ask for your support to help Ashok alleviate the financial burden that comes with the expensive medications as well as cost of seeking treatment in these countries.
