I’m creating this GoFundMe to support Josh and Alicia Deluca and their daughter Ashlynn Deluca during an incredibly difficult and unexpected medical situation.

Around Christmas, Ashlynn began experiencing severe lower back pain, skin sensitivity, and worsening pain and numbness radiating into her legs and feet. After multiple medical visits and MRI testing through Concord Orthopedic Walk-In, the results showed inflammation of the spinal fluid and spinal cord, and she was urgently sent to the ER for immediate care.

She has since undergone additional testing, including a lumbar puncture, and is currently receiving 5 days of IV steroid infusions to help reduce the inflammation. There will also be continued follow-up appointments with specialists over the coming weeks as doctors work to determine the cause and next steps.

Despite everything, she has been pushing through, working full time until being admitted, and continuing her online college classes toward her Psychology degree. She is a hardworking, strong young woman, and this situation has turned life upside down for their family.

This fundraiser is to help relieve some of the financial burden that comes with sudden hospitalization and ongoing medical care, such as travel, missed work, bills, and everyday living expenses so they can focus on healing and recovery.
