Hey all, it's Ashlynn here. Some of y'all have been following what's been happening with my family recently, but if you haven't, here's the gist of things: Our house is being foreclosed on because the mortgage lender that my grandparents used refuses to acknowledge my dad and aunt as the new homeowners. We have until September 24, 2025 to be out of our home and preferably somewhere else. I'm gonna be real for a minute, if we end up on the streets, at least one of my family members will die. One of my siblings, my dad, and I are all extremely temperature-intolerant, and with dad's heart being as weak as it is, experiencing homelessness would be deadly for at least one of us if not more. Dad and I have run the math, and we need $10,000 to not only move, but obtain both a PO box and storage unit, along with having enough to put down a deposit on an apartment in the city we live in.
