Help Ashlyn Simmons Attend CLI Conservatory

My name is Ashlyn Simmons, and I’m raising $20,000 to attend the CLI Conservatory and pursue my dream of becoming a professional dancer. I have seven years of dance experience and performed all four years in college without a scholarship, relying on passion, perseverance, and unwavering faith. I recently graduated from Grambling State University in December with a 3.8 GPA, overcoming injuries and financial hardships along the way.

Now, I work full-time as a preschool teacher and save every dollar I can, but affording this life-changing opportunity on my own isn’t possible. CLI will provide the professional training, mentorship, and connections I need to take the next step in my dance journey.

My ultimate goal is to open a free dance school for children who can’t afford classes, because I’ve been that child. By the grace of God, I had help getting here, and now I want to be that help for others. Giving back is my passion, and dance is my purpose.
