I am a first-time mom and the first doctoral candidate in my family. I’ve worked hard to get to this point, but recently, I lost access to PLUS loans and now face a tuition deadline in just two weeks. I’m not working right now, and honestly, I feel lost and unsure of what to do. I don’t want to quit, but the financial pressure is overwhelming.

The funds raised here will help me pay my tuition in full or go towards a payment plan, so I can stay in my doctoral program and keep moving forward for my family. This degree means so much to me—not just for my own future, but as an example for my child and my family.

I don’t expect much, especially knowing how tight money is for so many families right now. But I would be so grateful for any support. Every dollar counts, and it feels very humbling to ask for help.
