Help Ashlyn Escape the Desert & Reclaim Her Life
(Relocation for medical safety, emotional healing, and housing stability)
Living in the Arizona heat is killing her.
That’s not a figure of speech—it’s a fact. Ashlyn lives with multiple chronic, progressive illnesses, including neurological, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders that make extreme heat life-threatening. In the triple-digit desert summers, her body begins to shut down:
- She faints walking to the car.
- She can’t breathe, can’t eat, can’t regulate her temperature.
- Her doctors have told her: as long as she stays in the desert, she will continue to decline.
But Ashlyn doesn’t want to die in the desert.
She wants to live.
In cooler air. Near the trees.
After losing her mom, stepdad, and four chosen-family members all in one year, Ashlyn is desperate for connection and safety. A cooler climate isn’t just comforting—it’s medically safer for someone with her conditions. This isn’t about chasing a dream. It’s about survival.
But escaping the Arizona heat isn’t the only reason Ashlyn needs to leave.
She’s also trying to free herself from an emotionally and verbally abusive environment. The person she once trusted most has become another source of harm. And now, she’s finally ready to go.
Ashlyn lives on a fixed disability income. She’s not asking for luxuries.
If you can give—any amount at all—you’ll be helping Ashlyn move to safety, to family, and to a climate where her body has a fighting chance. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, community groups, or networks.
Together, we can help her start again.
Together, we can help her breathe again.
❤️ Thank you for helping Ashlyn find her way home.
