Meet Ashlyn, she's not your typical 19-year-old. Ashlyn is a full-time student at RMU. She works two jobs to pay her bills on her own (rent, car insurance, electric, phone, internet, etc.). You might have seen her around; she's a server at the Moon Bob Evans and she's in her 5th season working Game Ops/Video Board for the Wheeling Nailers.

Now let me tell you the reason why Ashlyn needs our help.

You see, on December 3rd, 2025, Ashlyn was taken to the ER because she was having severe stomach pains. What she thought was something minor turned into seeing a few specialists and finding out at 19 years old she would need an organ removed. Her gallbladder surgery is scheduled for March 16th. Luckily, she does have some health insurance coverage, but it only covers 60%. The rest is up to her. She will be out of work for a week or two depending on how quickly she heals. She's trying her best to save every penny she can so she can still cover her regular monthly bills. It's hard this time of year; Bob's is slow and the ECHL player strike made her lose out on a couple of days' pay that she was going to put back.

Long story short... Ash is a great person, she would do anything for anyone. And she doesn't want to be a burden and ask for help, so I made her a GoFundMe!!
