Help Ashlie and Tim with Funeral and Travel Costs

My name is Ashlie and I'm raising money for my husband to help. His father, Charles, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug 31st. We have all had a very rough go of it since 2020 when my husband was laid off from his job, and we've been through a lot of trials since then. God is taking care of us in every situation, and I am praying that He will bring people to this GoFundMe to help us meet the current need.

My father-in-law is in FL, and we live in WV. We're living paycheck to paycheck and still trying to recover from the setbacks of 2020. Being his only child, my husband has to travel to FL and take care of things having to do with his father's passing. Unfortunately, we don't have the savings to cover this sudden and unexpected expense. It's my prayer that people who can share will be willing to lend a hand. I don't usually ask for charity, but we need every bit of charity right now so that we can pay for the travel to FL and everything we'll need to be doing to take care of what's left behind. Any donation, however small, helps and is deeply appreciated.

We are driving to FL to save costs and will be needing to cover gas, food, and whatever unexpected costs are waiting for us there. We'll be arranging Chuck's cremation and taking care of whatever needs doing. This GoFundMe is to cover the cost of car rental, gas, food, hotel, incidentals, and potential funeral costs since we don't currently have a car we can drive down right now or any savings to use for these sudden expenses. We are struggling, but we need to do this, so I pray God blesses this fundraiser to meet the need the same way He blessed me in 2021 when my mother passed, and we didn't know what to do or how to do it. God is good, and I give Him all credit for getting us through these difficult situations.

I have added a picture to this fundraiser. It's the last time we were able to see Chuck, Tim's dad, in person. It was a short visit, but we were so blessed by it. When we hugged goodbye, we didn't realize that with everything life throws at each of us, that would be our last opportunity to be together. As hard as this all is, I am praying that, at least, the financing side of this won't be something we have to worry over. Thank you again for your time.
