Ashlie Sansome is fighting breast cancer. She is getting treatment at Stephenson's Cancer Center in OKC where she had a double mastectomy on December 19th. Before deciding on Stephenson's Cancer Center, she went to MD Anderson for a second opinion and found out the treatment plan would be the same in Houston as OKC. They decided that driving back and forth to Houston and added cost of travel would not be feasible. During her double mastectomy, they found a 3rd tumor that was not there on the ultrasound less than month before surgery. She is currently awaiting a treatment plan.

Ashlie is a hospice nurse who has helped hundreds of people in the toughest time of their lives; so let's help her during the toughest time of her life!!

Ashlie has 3 teenagers involved in year-round sports. 2 boys in their junior year currently playing basketball, and about to start baseball and track. A girl in her freshman year who is playing JH basketball and preparing for JH and HS track season. They were always on the road to an event almost every day of the week before her surgery. Ashlie and Terry are wanting to keep the last few years of having their kids at home pleasant and as normal as possible. Ashlie's husband, Terry, is juggling work and making sure he is by her side at each appointment and treatment.
