Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. Two years ago, our family received the devastating news that our beloved Ashli had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. A tumor on the left side of her brain was successfully removed in surgery, and she showed incredible strength during her recovery. We all hoped that chapter was closed.

Sadly, that is not the case. On October 16th, doctors discovered a new tumor on the right side of her brain. This news was a profound shock. We are still awaiting the final treatment plan, and we will update everyone after her appointment with Dr. Emerson this Thursday in South Portland. What we know for certain is that another difficult journey lies ahead.

For nearly two years, Ashli has fought this battle with inspiring resilience. She continued to work a full-time schedule despite the immense physical and emotional toll of her medical appointments and ongoing recovery. But now, with the recurrence of this illness, she needs to focus entirely on her health and getting better.

The funds raised will allow Ashli to take much-needed time off from work without the added stress of financial worry. This time is critical for her physical recovery and mental well-being. It will also give her the priceless opportunity to concentrate on what matters most: spending quality time with her only child and grandchildren, something her appointments and work schedule have prevented.
