Help Ashley's Family Through This Loss

Good morning everyone. With a broken heart and deep sadness, I am informing you all of the passing of my beloved sister, Ashley. This is still unreal to me and we are still trying to process everything as a family and stay strong for the kids. Please please, be patient with us. —My sister passed unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on February 4,2025. As you all may now, my sister leaves behind 4 beautiful children, in which she raised on her own, after the passing of the children’s father, when their youngest twins were just 5 months old. My sister did a wonderful job raising them with the resources she had and they are the most thoughtful respectful children ever! My sister was their LIFE & their HEART. All they knew was my sister ASHLEY Please pray for my nieces and nephew!! Please pray for my mom, my brother, and I. I know I could never take the place of my sister in their life but I will try my best to be strong for them! My sister Ashley was a beautiful person in and out! She always looked out for others in need even when she did not have much herself. That never mattered to Ashley. If you needed help, she was gonna help you BY ANY MEANS. She welcomed EVERYONE into her home no matter the circumstances, everyone was welcome to stay at her house if needed. When she had birthday parties for the kids, she would cook a feast and whole neighborhood was invited and it Didn’t matter if she didn’t know you, just come get a plate ! I’ve been telling myself her heart was just TOO BIG for this world. Ashley was full of life and love up until she reached heaven and is now dancing in GLORY!! She loved Jesus and I just know He accepted His child with open arms! My sister was a member of Christian Life Center in Merced & was baptized with her daughter and I on Easter 2024. I thank my sister for bringing me Jesus & us starting a new life in Christ together My sister Ashley also just started her Spring semester at Merced College, she was sooo sooo excited to start school again, everyday she got to school early before her class starts just so she can be prepared as much as she can. She had aspirations to attain a degree in Social Work so that she can become an advocate for children in need. She would say “I want to be the voice for the children who don’t” Words cannot describe how beautiful my sister was, she was a social butterfly! Ashley made friends EVERYWHERE she went because she was just so full of life, love, and positivity!!! We just celebrated our birthday together, we went out to eat and enjoyed ourselves. I’m so thankful that God gave me one last birthday with my Sissy! I kno we are not supposed to question God but I know he likes to take the BEST ones home with Him. I just want to say thank you everyone who has been reaching out, i appreciate it & like I said earlier please just be patient with us. We are hurting, grieving, mourning, trying to adjust to this new reality that still doesn’t feel real. To my beautiful sister, Ashley I love you with all of my heart! There was nothing that I would not do for you. I know that you may no longer be here physically but I know you will be here in Spirit, watching over us and the babies! Fly high sister !!! I know you’re up there laughing and dancing Heaven has truly gained the most beautiful Angel of all !!!!! —-I will update everyone on dates for her celebration of life when I get them and I pray all of you are able to show up for her because that’s what she would have wanted! Y’all know Ashley liked to party and cook for everyone and have a great time, so that’s what we gonna do ! Because that’s what Ashley would have wanted!
