Help Ashley's family recover from the Eaton Fire in Altadena

Hello friends,

We are Seanne Winslow and Lizzie Sam, and we are creating this GoFundMe campaign for our dear friend, Ashley Bradley, her sister Cailin, and Ashley’s three-year-old daughter, Adelia. We have known Ashley for 15+ years, been her neighbors in LA, and consider her family.

Overnight on Jan 7th/8th, 2025, Ashley's home burned in the Eaton Fire along with the homes of her friends and neighbors in Altadena, CA. And while we are incredibly grateful that Ashley, Adelia, and Cailin are safe (along with their beloved cat Alexie), their whole lives have been reduced to ashes.

Ashley and Adelia were out of town when the fire broke out, forcing them to witness this horrific event from afar. Cailin, who was at the house, was able to rescue their cat just before evacuating. Unfortunately, everything else was lost - from irreplaceable sentimental items, like Adelia’s first stuffed animal and Ashley's family letters, to essential practical items such as Ashley’s car, furniture, clothing, and all household goods.

Ashley and Adelia returned to Los Angeles on Saturday with nothing but the suitcases they were traveling with. Now, they have to restart their lives from scratch.

The road ahead for them is daunting and they are already facing significant challenges with their insurance coverage, which unfortunately will not come close to covering the extensive losses they have suffered. This is where we, as their community, can step in and make a real difference.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help Ashley, Adelia, and Cailin get their lives back together. Your support, no matter the amount, will provide them with the resources and support they need, including necessities for Adelia and Ashley to find stability and start anew. These funds will be used towards expenses in excess of federal aid allowances. It will show them that they are not alone and that we stand with them during this incredibly difficult time.

Ashley is one of the most resilient and caring people we know. We are heartbroken by this tragedy and are determined to support her and her family as they restart their lives. We invite you to join us in helping her.
