Help Ashley Through Her Cancer Journey

Right before Easter, my best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Her appointments to see the progression and put a surgical game plan in place fell short of our hopes once we realized that the cancer had progressed and was in her lymph nodes.

Her largest mass is too close to her chest wall to safely perform a mastectomy prior to chemotherapy, so her game plan is to start chemotherapy as soon as possible, with her surgery for a chemo port taking place early next week, and hopefully performing a mastectomy after what we're aiming to be 4-6 months of chemotherapy.

We are making this GoFundMe in hopes of easing some of the financial burden Ashley and her family will encounter through medical expenses, preparation, and supplies, as well as childcare, as she has a 1-year-old and has been informed many of her surgeries will leave her unable to pick him up due to weight lifting restrictions.
