Help Ashley Secure a Stable Home

Hello friends,

My name is Ashley, as most of you already know. Over the past year, I have had to relocate to Maine out of necessity after being evicted from my apartment in East Brunswick. After being there for about 3 months, I had to relocate back to New Jersey due to personal reasons. Since I have been back in New Jersey, I have endured a great amount of struggles from not being able to find a long-term place of employment, to not being able to afford medical and dental care even in a state of emergency (I still have yet to get an infected tooth extracted, and it took 2 months to get a life saving surgery since I do not have insurance, and I have yet to receive aftercare for that surgery as well, due to me not having health insurance). I originally came back to New Jersey to live with a friend until I got back on my feet, but that is taking much longer than expected. I am not on the lease at the apartment that I have been living in, and because of that, we are now in a situation where the landlord is threatening eviction. He has already disconnected the washing machine and dryer and claimed that they were costing too much to keep running, despite him charging $2400 a month for the apartment space. I have applied to about 100 jobs, including places in towns that I would have to take public transportation to get to. I finally got close to having a potential job, and now we are having eviction threatened to us. Most apartments around us need at least 1½× rent including security deposit, and our credit scores aren't terrible but they are not good enough to get a loan. We have been able to tour 1 location, who would have approved us if we had the money to immediately move in. What I am asking for right now, is to help me achieve that amount. As long as we are able to move in, we are immediately able to work, so keeping up with the monthly rent will not be an issue. The only issue we are having right now is the amount of money needed to move in. Please help us achieve that goal.
