Help Ashley Recover from Pancreatic Artery Rupture
Donation protected
Thursday night, my daughter Ashley had her gastroduodenal artery rupture. This was a complication from pancreatitis she’d been battling with since an accident last February. She was bleeding profusely and seizing. Her 7-year-old daughter, unfortunately, witnessed the whole thing but was able to get help (thanks to her dad, step-mom, and a neighbor) and save her mom’s life.
Ashley was taken to the hospital where they were able to cauterize the artery. She lost 18 units of blood and had no blood pressure. She’s in pretty serious condition, sedated and on a breathing tube while the doctors figure out the next step. Surely there were angels looking out for both Ashley and Scarlette.
Ashley is a single mom. We are trying to raise money to help with her medical bills & time off work while she recovers. Any donation will be appreciated and goes directly to Ashley. ❤️

Ashley Update #1:
Saturday, they were able to take her off the breathing tube and restraints they had her hands in since Thursday night. Once she got her voice back, she shared a little bit of what she could remember from the incident…
Unfortunately, they have to do another procedure Monday to fix the stents bc they moved.
Thank you to everyone who’s donated, prayed and sent good thoughts!!! It’s being felt and our hearts are very touched.
Update #2

She’s on her way for her procedure. The doctor explained they’re taking the stent out of the big cyst bc it collapsed, which is what they wanted. The other stent will stay in the damaged pancreatic duct while it heals. It will be replaced every couple of months until then. The doctor thinks the damaged duct is what has kept her from getting better all these months and caused the artery to weaken and rupture.
Thank you again for all your prayers, kind words, donations and support.
