Hello!! We hate to do this, but we need help. Unfortunately, business has been slow for a few years. We've been able to stay afloat with loans and credit cards. We were finally catching up, and we got hit with some awful news. Ashley was hospitalized on 6/3 and is unable to work (although she is still working two days a week against her doctor's recommendations). Sadly, on top of barely surviving, she does not have great health insurance, so every scan has been $300-$600 out of pocket, and thousands of dollars are racking up in bills. She is getting surgery on Aug 7th and thankfully will make a full recovery and be back about 6 weeks after surgery. But, our already struggling business really took a hit. With only making half the amount we can with her working full time and our landlord being absolutely awful, we are in a bad place. There is no cap on what they can charge for late fees, so because we were late on rent for June and July (to be completely honest, we were already about $900 behind for June), we are now facing $10,600 back pay owed. They charged us 100% of our outstanding balance as a late fee :(.

We've explained our situation and made an agreement to pay $1000 every 3 days, but we just can't keep up. The late fees are STACKING up like no tomorrow. They're getting ready to issue a pay or vacate, and we simply can't lose our business. It's been an asset to the less fortunate in our community as well as putting food on our table for almost 5 years. We could really use some community help. We promise we pay it forward in free grooming and boarding for those who desperately need it. We unfortunately are now the ones needing help. If everyone could even send $5, it would help so much.
