Hi, my name is Ashley. This is taking everything in me to swallow my pride and ask for help. I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my second child and have a 16-month-old daughter at home with me. I'm a single mom and working two jobs to try and support myself and my daughter.

These past couple of months, I've been hit with a string of bad luck, where I've lost all my savings and am down to my last $50.00.

Recently, my car keys and apartment keys went missing last week Friday. I had to use the last bit of my savings, as well as donations from my dad and some friends, to pay for new car keys.

Today, I woke up to my car missing from in front of my home. In my car was my purse with all my IDs, cards, cash, my personal documents (birth certificate, Social Security card), along with my daughter's personal paperwork and my laptop. Among the items was my old engagement ring, which I just had appraised to sell to get money to catch up on bills.

And sentimental items of my dad and home in Hawaii. My car is the only thing that gets me and my baby around to work, daycare, doctor's appointments, etc.

I know times are hard for everyone, and I know I'm asking for a lot. The funds are to be able to buy a new car or put a deposit down on a car, to pay to replace personal paperwork, and to be able to buy a new car seat for my baby and soon-to-be newborn.
