Hello everyone. I've created this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Ashley Petroff, a resilient single mother of three wonderful children.
In June 2024, Ashley received a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 colorectal cancer, which has turned her world upside down. Ashley was forced to leave her full-time job and steady income to undergo extensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
By the end of August 2025, she finally underwent curative surgery to remove the tumor, which thankfully was successful. However, just three days after surgery she and the kids were abruptly evicted from their home in San Tan Valley, AZ with nowhere to go.
Ashley frantically searched for an affordable apartment with no luck. A local realtor told her about the Homeward Bound Apartments (now Thunderbird), a transitional housing complex that was being renovated in the metro Phoenix area. Her application was accepted and they moved into the complex in October 2025.
Although she has secured housing at Thunderbird Apartments, Ashley and the kids still need help. Due to the residual effects of cancer, she is unable to return to the workforce, making it difficult to cover other expenses such as clothing, insurance, bills, and vehicle repair.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help during this dire time. Please keep Ashley and her children in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to navigate this challenging chapter. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering a donation and for sharing this campaign with your friends and family.
Note: You may also send donations directly to her Venmo account, @Ashley-Petroff-1. (phone number verification: 6077)
