Help Ashley Overcome Her Snowmobiling Accident

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Ashley. I did something stupid. I went snowmobiling and fractured my elbow, shattering it in 5 places, requiring full elbow replacement surgery.

Why was this stupid? I don’t have a job that has paid time off. Thank goodness I have insurance but it doesn’t cover the entirety of my medical bills, nor does it cover lost wages.

I have more than six months of recovery ahead, including PT three times per week, which I can’t drive to because I have to take opioids prior to the appointment. I have 50 degrees to go in order to regain full range of motion, gaining only about 1 degree each session.

The accident took place out of town, and on my way back home, the kindness of strangers shone through. One compassionate individual even rearranged their flight multiple times to ensure my safe journey back.

With limited mobility and a long road ahead to regain full use of my arm, every gesture of support makes a significant difference. Your contribution can alleviate the financial burden, assisting with medical expenses, therapy sessions, and daily necessities during this challenging time.

Also, please share my story and say no to inherently dangerous activities unless you are able to deal with the consequences of your actions!

Thank you so much for supporting me on my journey from pain to healing.
