McKinley has joined Matt and Ashley's family officially! She is in the NICU and doing great. Parents continue to be grateful for all the help and support

Update as of Mon. 5/8/23:

Ashley was able to be discharged home on bed rest and McKinley is still growing strong in mama! Matt, McKinley's siblings, and the fur babies were very excited to have her home. Thank you so much for all the love and support; it's going to be a lot of rest and appointments until McKinley decides it's time to make her appearance, and we can't thank you all enough in helping make that possible. We love and appreciate you ❤️

*Update as of Sat. 5/6/23:

We are OVERWHELMED with gratitude. Thank you all so much for your help! Ashley remains hospitalized and McKinley remains "baking in the oven," and Ashley was able to get some fresh air outside (via wheelchair, safely with assistance.) We'll try and post any major updates here and can't thank you enough for your help, whether it be financial, sharing the fundraiser, or reaching out with kindness and support!

As you may know, Ashley and Matt have been expecting a baby girl (McKinley) around 7/24/2023! This is Ashley's first child, and she and Matt couldn't be more excited to meet her.

Recently, there has been an unexpected turn of events, and for her and McKinley's safety, Ashley will need to remain closely monitored either by medical staff, or at home on bed rest. Ashley was hoping to continue working until much closer to McKinley's anticipated due date, but this will not be possible. There is also a possibility that McKinley will be making her appearance earlier than we thought.

We are hoping to rally as Ashley and Matt's village, their people, and help ensure that they can focus their energy on staying safe and healthy while they await Miss McKinley's debut.

Any amount helps them with monthly bills, food, transportation costs and of course the kiddos and fur babies at home. On behalf of the happy family, as well as the Smiths and the Whites, thank you for all the love and support!
