Ashley has been my best friend for years, and seeing her and her boyfriend, Justin go through this has been heartbreaking. Early in the morning on January 16, just as they were getting comfortable in bed to sleep after a long night of work, her boyfriend smelled smoke. Within moments, their apartment caught fire, and in a matter of hours, they lost everything they owned. The shock and loss have been overwhelming, but Ashley and her boyfriend are doing their best to stay strong and hopeful as they start over from scratch.
