My daughter Ashley and her 20-month-old daughter were recently involved in a serious car incident. Both were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, and my daughter Ashley still remains in the ICU.

She is a strong and devoted single mother of two young girls, ages 7 and 20 months. Due to the extent of her injuries, she has a long road to recovery ahead, including extensive rehab and physical therapy. It will be some time before she can fully care for her daughters and provide for them as she always has.
