Support Ashley through her Open Heart surgery recovery

UPDATE: unfortunately Ashley got a call that her surgery date has been postponed. Fingers crossed she gets a new date soon

Ashley McKillop, is facing her third open-heart surgery—a mitral valve replacement—along with a long and challenging recovery journey. As many of you know, Ashley has always been the first to step up when someone is in need. She’s organized fundraisers, donated her time, and gone out of her way to help others. She gives her heart fully and unconditionally. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

This surgery isn’t just another procedure—it's her third open-heart surgery, on top of four previous pacemaker operations. With that history comes added risks, more scar tissue, and a more complex recovery. Ashley will need to stay in Vancouver for her surgery and early recovery, her husband Joe will be taking time off work to focus entirely on her healing.

Funds raised will go toward:

* Travel and accommodation in Vancouver for surgery and post-op care

* Time off work for Joe

* Ongoing cardiac rehab and follow-up appointments

* Recovery support and medications during the long road ahead

Our goal is to help ease the financial burden so Ashley can focus fully on healing. She’s always been the first to help—now we’re asking for your help to give that love back to her.
