I am Ashley's cousin from Michigan, wanting to help her.
Ashley (Parker) Glunt: a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend to many! Anyone who knows her, sees her as a bright, caring, compassionate person who is there for others due to her kindhearted nature.
It all began, after a concerning phone call from my mom and aunt stating Ashley was experiencing strange behaviors that nobody could seem to understand or pinpoint. After days of being in and out of hospitals without answers, we realized that this would soon become a financial, as well as emotional burden to her family.
In August 2020, Ashley started experiencing symptoms of Functional Neurological Disorder, this was causing her to experience seizure like behaviors, an inability to swallow, as well as communication and abnormal movements beyond her control. After many weeks of tests and hospital visits the medical bills will be coming in soon and start piling up. The doctor's are working hard to help her heal from this condition, so she may be able to return home to her husband and children, and then begin the many hours of hard work and therapy. We do not know when she may be able to return to work again. It is going to be a long healing process, from learning to walk to finally returning to her active, fun loving, hard working self. All proceeds go directly to the family, and are greatly appreciated by Pete, Ashley, Miles, and Charlotte.
