My name is Ashley Zimmerman, and I am a first-generation college student working to fulfill a dream my late father and I shared. Recently, I suffered the devastating loss of my father, and in the wake of his passing, the funds intended for my education were entirely depleted by my mother, leaving me to start my college journey with nothing. Despite this, I am determined to reach the classroom this fall. I am raising funds to cover the essential costs of my first year, including room and board, which is my largest hurdle.
