Let’s come together and help this sweet family during such a difficult time. Thursday April 17th Corydon Surrell was in a motorcycle accident that has left the unknown for this family. As of the latest update from his wife, Corydon is in critical condition and has a broken arm, broken back/spinal injuries, collapsed lungs and currently paralyzed. He was flown to OU and they are doing everything they can to keep him stable. Emergency surgery was attempted however Corydon just isn’t stable enough. They had to make the decision to sedate him and place him on a ventilator in hopes to allow his body to rest so they can try to get him into surgery for his injuries.So much unknown is still wondering through this families mind as well as the doctors and surgeons. Corydon is a wonderful husband to his wife Ashley and has two beautiful daughters. This family is going to need all the prayers and help they can get and I know our community can and will come together for this family. Ashley will be out of work for a while and driving back and forth from the city so funding for fuel, food and bills would be helpful during this time.
