Help Ashley Conquer Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Only two years into our marriage, we are facing the most difficult challenge we could possibly face. She went to doctor for a lump in her right breast and after several mammograms, sonograms and 3 biopsies, our worst fears were confirmed. At only 34 she has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and will have to undergo Chemotherapy and surgery. This is every woman’s worst nightmare. Ashley is a supportive and loving friend, daughter, sister, and the most incredible wife a man could ask for and now it’s time for us to help her.   Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women, each year it is estimated that over 252,710 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. There are 3.3 million breast cancer survivors alive in the US today and we are going to do what we can to make sure that Ashley is one of them.    A cancer diagnosis itself is one of the most difficult burdens to bare but unfortunately there is a massive financial burden that comes along with it. While our health insurance covers some of the medical costs, it does not cover everything. One of the most substantial expenses that we are facing involves our hope to grow our family. The amount out of pocket for the medication alone is astronomical. Ashley and I have always wanted to have children, but a strong possible side effect of the Chemotherapy is infertility. We have been advised by her doctors that our best chance to preserve her fertility so we can still fulfill our dream of having children after her recovery is to freeze her embryos. They will be frozen and stored to be used for IVF once Ashley has been declared cancer free. While some of these costs are known, we are also preparing for the unknown. Whatever you can give, any amount at all, can make a difference. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude.  We thank you all in advance for your kind consideration/generosity and know Ashley will be eternally grateful for any help she's able to get! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she starts this fight. We will keep everyone informed on Ashley’s progress through every step of this journey.
