In 2025, Ashley Bunker and her family made a life-changing move across the country after her employer offered a relocation package and a new opportunity. They packed up their lives, drove thousands of miles away from their support system, and used their savings along with the relocation funds to purchase their first family home. On the very day they closed on their home, Ashley was unexpectedly let go from her job. Overnight, Ashley and her family were left in a new state with no support system, no savings, and no income. It took time for them to find employment again, and during that time they fell further and further behind on their mortgage and essential bills.

Recently, their situation became even more difficult when Ashley's husband lost his job. Ashley is currently the only provider for their family, and despite working as many hours as she can, she simply cannot catch up. Today they are facing the very real possibility of losing their home. We are asking for help to give Ashley and her family a chance to stay in the home they worked so hard for. Their household includes six family members and four beloved pets, two of whom are elderly dogs who have been with them for many years. The thought of losing their home and becoming homeless is terrifying. They are doing everything they can to stay afloat, but it’s just not enough.
