My name is Ashley, and like many, many people right now, I'm experiencing a period of financial instability thanks to long-term unemployment. I was luckier than some and recieved 3 months severance (which I made last for 6 months), and have since emptied my 401k to cover my expenses after that. While the job search continues and the cost of everything goes up, I've tapped out so many of the resources I once had and need support in a way that I never expected to before.

Any support you can provide would mean more than I could ever put into words, and will help me with things like staying housed, getting my car repaired (so I can Doordash), medicating my chronic autoimmune disease, and keeping my phone number connected so that I'm reachable by prospective employers. The tiniest setback during a period of financial uncertainty can create a domino effect that's extraordinarily difficult to recover from, and being able to tackle even the smallest of these obstacles would be an incalculable weight off my shoulders during this difficult time.
