Hi everyone, my name is Ashley Echeverria. I am a senior at Cypress Springs High School. I recently got invited to attend the Stanford University summer program called Intensive Law & Trial, and would greatly appreciate it if you could take a minute to read a little bit about me and my personal story.

Ever since I was little, I have always held a passion and love for the field of law and hope to one day become an attorney. Recently, I was honored to be invited to attend the Stanford Intensive Law and Trial Summer Program. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain hands-on experience in law at one of the most prestigious universities in the world, while also earning college credits.

Unfortunately, the total cost of the program is more than my family can afford. Both of my parents are among the strongest and hardest-working people I know. They do just about more than enough to make sure my brother and I both have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and clean clothes to wear every single day. However, due to serious financial needs that need to be met, they don't make a sufficient amount of money to help me pay for the tuition needed to be able to attend the Intensive Law & Trial summer program at Stanford.

They have both always supported my dreams, but this expense is simply too much for us right now. I have never had the chance to attend a program dedicated to law, and I know that participating in this experience would not only give me valuable knowledge and guidance for my future, but also help me discover if this career path is truly right for me.
