Help Ashley and Patrick Avoid Eviction

Hi, I am Ashley Limbert. And I live in Holiday Florida, I am asking for help with our rent and late fees. My husband and I have had a series of unfortunate events and are facing eviction. Let me tell you how we got here. My husband had a massive heart attack in 2020 and it affects our day to day life. On September 23rd he was admitted to hospital for chest pain. He was kept for testing and released on the 25th. We got hit by hurricane Helene on the 26th. We lost power and our house flooded. He lost 2 days of work and 3 days for myself. A very short 15 days later we got a major hurricane on the way. My mother is getting ready to come to my house and has a bad stroke. She is admitted to hospital on the 9th. Now we have to batten down the hatches and evaluate. We spend money we don't have to by coraget to cover the windows ( because the landlord won't) and then drive two cars to the middle of the state with 4 dogs, 2 cats and 1 tortoise. We come home to find a house intact. But, no power for 6 days. We lost all of our food. And flooding. We both missed 4 days of work. On Wednesday the 23rd. Two days before Patrick's birthday, he was hit at a stop light by a suv going 50+ mph. He is lucky to be alive but is so injured he can't work. As a side note and a testament to our rotten luck, my car broke down, then got a flat tire. Our vacuum broke and our washing machine. My mom had 2 more strokes and now needs to live with us. I am telling you all this so you will understand why I am asking for help. Our landlord won't give us any grace period and in fact is charging us 400$ plus 35$ a day. She says she is going to start eviction on Tuesday if we don't have the rent and all late fees. We are desperate. Please help. Anything helps. Thank you.
