Help Ashley Fight for Her Life – Support for Medical Expenses and Family Needs

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of Ashley Huri, a loving 24-year-old mother from Manchester, CT, who has been courageously battling a life-threatening blood clotting disorder since she was 16. Over the years, Ashley has faced several critical, near-death experiences, each time pulling through with remarkable strength. Now, her health has deteriorated further, and she is preparing for a major surgery, called PTE, in a fight for her life.

Ashley’s Journey: Triumphs and Tragedies

In 2016, Ashley faced the first of many terrifying medical battles with blood clots. She fought hard and survived, only to confront another near-fatal experience in 2019. In 2021, Ashley was joyfully expecting her baby boy, Logan, but tragically lost him to a blood clot in his umbilical cord due to preeclampsia. She grieved deeply, but her determination to live carried her forward.

In 2022, Ashley gave birth to her beautiful son Oakley after 48 grueling hours in labor, ending in an emergency C-section. Shortly after, Ashley’s health rapidly declined. She developed multiple clots in her lungs, requiring her to be intubated and airlifted to Boston for life-support treatment (ECMO). Against all odds, Ashley fought through the ordeal for her son.

Today, Ashley’s health is again in grave danger. She requires extensive support to manage her condition and care for her young son Oakley.

Ashley’s mother Dena, father Jim, her devoted husband Pat, and her son Oakley are staying by her side in Boston, where she will undergo intensive surgery. With medical bills, lodging, food, and travel expenses piling up, the family needs your help to navigate this challenging time without the added burden of financial strain.
