My name is Christine Laudato. I am the mother of Colton Laudato and mother-in-law to Ashley Laudato. Today, the unthinkable happened. My son was in the basement when a loud explosion sounded off. He ran from the basement to the kids sleeping upstairs. He was able to get the kids and the dog out of the house. (Ashley was working). By the time he got out of the house, it was engulfed in flames. A small plane carrying two people crashed into their house. My son and his family were the lucky ones. The pilot and his student unfortunately did not make it.

The kids have lost everything, but we are BEYOND grateful we are not asking for assistance for something much more tragic. Colton lost his car and they lost everything in the house. They only have the shirts on their backs. We have decided to put our pride aside and ask for any help that is possible. They are going to be displaced for quite some time and the settlement will take a very long time due to the nature of the incident. If you can find it in your hearts to help, we will be beyond grateful. We promise to give back to the next family in need.
