It is with profound sadness that I share the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of Christopher Sundberg, at only 53 years old. Chris passed away suddenly at his home in Dayton on May 4, 2026, his daughters Ashley and Alyssa are devastated by this loss and are struggling to navigate the difficult days ahead.
Chris was the kind of person who made an impact wherever he went. He was an energetic, devoted father, a loving son and brother, and a loyal friend to so many. If you needed a helping hand, a kind word, or someone to simply listen, Chris was always there. His warmth, kindness, and generosity touched everyone he met, and his vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Because his passing was so sudden, his daughters are facing unexpected funeral and memorial expenses. They want to give their dad the honor and farewell he deserves, and are asking for your help in easing this financial burden during an already overwhelming time. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this link, will mean more than words can express.
Funds will be used to help with: cremation and funeral home costs, death certificates, memorial expenses, and other end-of-life arrangements.
Any amount you can contribute—no matter how small—will make a true difference in supporting Chris’s daughters during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this link within your network to help us reach others who may wish to help.
Your kindness, support, and prayers mean the world to his daughters as we come together to celebrate Chris’s life and legacy. Thank you for your compassion and for helping Ashley and Alyssa through this difficult time.
