Help Us Get Back on the Road: Critical Car Repairs Needed

I’m reaching out today because my family is facing a challenging situation, and we could really use your support. Our car, which is essential for our daily lives, has been experiencing significant issues. In less than two months, we’ve gone through three sets of tires due to ongoing problems, and the repair costs have become overwhelming.

Why This Matters

My car is more than just a vehicle; it’s our primary means of transportation. It allows me to commute to my job as a part-time assistant teacher, take my kids to school, attend important appointments, and manage our daily responsibilities. Without reliable transportation, these everyday tasks have become incredibly difficult.

After taking my car to the mechanic, I received an estimate for the necessary repairs, and unfortunately, it’s higher than I anticipated.

To get back on the road safely, I need to raise $6,000 to cover the following critical repairs:

New Tires: A complete set is required due to excessive wear.

New Front Rotors: Essential for proper brake function and safety.

Sway Bar Bushings: These need replacement to maintain vehicle stability.

New Windshield: Our current windshield needs replacing for clear visibility.

New Windshield Wipers: To ensure safety during inclement weather.

Wheel Alignment: Necessary for proper tire wear and handling.

Air Filter Replacement: To maintain engine efficiency.

Coolant Service: To prevent engine overheating.

Front Control Arms: These need replacement for proper suspension and steering.

The Impact of Your Support

Without my car, my spouse cannot do his job since it requires the use of a personal vehicle. Public transportation isn’t a viable option for him due to the nature of his work. Additionally, my job is 15 miles away, and I need to arrive before public transportation starts running in the morning. We are currently down to just one income with my part-time job providing only 30 hours a week. Having a functioning vehicle is essential for maintaining our commitments and moving forward.
