Help Ashleigh's Dad Recover from Critical Surgery

Donation protected
My name is Ashleigh and on September 26th, my dad started to feel sick. Come September 27th (Saturday), he had been up all night puking. My mom decided to take him to the ER. She got him to the ER, and as they went into the triage room to get checked out, he said he felt like he was going to fall out. Then he proceeded to projectile vomit everywhere. My mom said he started to shake really bad, his eyes rolled in the back of his head, and he just fell out onto the floor. Doctors and nurses rushed over to him, dragged him across the floor, and started immediately doing CPR because they lost his pulse for a good 25 minutes. They put him on a gurney and brought him down the hallway as he had 2 nurses on top of him trying to do chest compressions. By this time, he had coded 3 times and lost his pulse. The hospital ended up doing a CAT scan and found out he had an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm that had ruptured. He then had to be immediately flown to Traverse City for emergency surgery. The doctors had told my mom there was a very high chance he would not survive the 20-minute flight (lost him on the flight but was able to get him back). I got my grandma, and we got in the car and drove to Traverse City. We arrived at the hospital, and they informed us that he was in surgery and they would let us know after it was all finished. Doctors finally came out and let us know he had made it through surgery but was very critically ill and to not get our hopes up. Every doctor that viewed his case could not believe that he was still alive and made it through surgery; they called him Superman. After his surgery, we were informed that one of his kidneys was completely done for; there was absolutely no blood flow to it, and his other kidney had very little blood flow and was very diseased. So, also after trying to recover from this major surgery he just went through, they were trying to fix his kidneys, hemoglobin numbers, white blood cell count, and oxygen. He has been struggling with keeping his oxygen up and keeping his blood pressure good. He was in the ICU from Saturday, and he just got moved last night to ICU step down. Right now, he is still struggling with oxygen levels. I am trying to help them by doing this to help them with anything financially. My dad is going to be out of work for 3+ months, and he is the main source of income in the family. My mom is very dependent on my dad, so this has been extremely hard for her. He is the one to always help and fix everyone else; now it's our turn to help and fix him. Thank you so much for your time.
