Hey everyone,

I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my dear friend, Ashleigh Barnhart, a loving single mom of 5 beautiful kids who is facing an unimaginable series of challenges right now.

Just this past Monday, Ashleigh was in a terrible car accident that completely totaled her vehicle. Thankfully, she and the kids are safe — but as she’s been trying to figure out how to recover from that loss, disaster struck again.

This week’s massive storm in the PNW, particularly in Everson, WA, has flooded Ashleigh’s home, causing significant damage and forcing her and her five children — along with their dog — to evacuate. They are now displaced, trying to find somewhere safe to stay while dealing with the emotional and financial strain of losing both their car and livable home within days of each other.

Ashleigh is one of the strongest, most caring people you’ll ever meet. She is one of our amazing counselor's at Fisher Elementary school in Lynden. She’s always been the first to lend a hand to others, and now she needs our community to rally behind her. Funds raised through this campaign will go toward:

Temporary housing for Ashleigh, her five kids, and their dog

Replacing essential items lost in the flood

Repairs and cleanup costs for their home

Transportation needs after losing her vehicle
