Hi everyone! My little sister and her family were in a tornado that destroyed their home in Knox, IN. This event also occurred on my niece's 13th birthday.

Not only did their house sustain major damage—no roof—but their home and possessions have extensive water damage. They're still unable to access two rooms in the home because the ceiling collapsed.

They will have to live in a camper on the property with 3 kids ages 10-14... not ideal. The work needed will likely take 3-6 months or more to complete.

My sister and her husband are hard workers who have their kiddos involved in every sport and hobby that a kid could want to be in or do! They're all amazing, and we are all so glad they're alive and well.

The devastation of seeing your home, yard, and two cars smashed when the garage roof was laid to rest on top of them is still sinking in. It's a disaster. I want to give them the best chance to recover from this.

I also, secretly, want my niece to have the ability to celebrate her very special birthday... becoming a teen is a big deal... despite this terrifying experience. Most of us don't usher in any birthday wrapped around a basement pole, unable to breathe while the roof of your home is ripped off!!!

So if you're able to help them out and also wish my niece, Emmie, a Happy 13th Birthday while ya do it, that would be wonderful! Thanking you in advance for your kindness!
