I am helping my dear friend Ashkan by raising money for his immigration attorney. November 18 changed his and his family’s life for the worst when he went in for a check-in and did not come back outside where his wife and baby were waiting for him. He has no criminal history and did not even know what being arrested or being in jail felt like until he was put in detention. In his home country, there is a great deal of uncertainty and persecution for those returned, especially from America. If he is sent back, he will never see any of them again, and his baby will grow up without a dad. Ashkan is a very smart and caring person who would give his last dollar to anyone in need. He loves his baby, wife, family, and friends more than anything in this world. He is trying to stay strong and hopeful like he always is, but we can tell how much he is missing everyone. We are trying to do anything possible to help him fight his case so he can live a life of safety with his loved ones. After searching for days, a knowledgeable and passionate attorney has been found, and the case will start immediately after receiving the money. This is a very urgent matter, and we are trying our best to make things happen as soon as possible, but we need the help of others.
