Help Ashen Walk Again — One Jump Changed Everything

A few days ago, Ashen jumped onto the bed like he’s done a hundred times before — but this time, I heard a pop. He yelped and immediately started limping. I hoped it was just a sore muscle or a bad landing, but over the next few days, it got worse. His back legs weakened, and soon he could barely stand.

I rushed him to the vet, praying it wasn’t something serious. But after exams and x-rays, I got heartbreaking news:

Ashen has torn the ACLs in both of his hind legs.

The only way for him to walk again — let alone run or play — is surgery on both legs. Without it, he’ll continue to be in pain, and his mobility will decline quickly.

Ashen isn’t just a pet — he’s my family. He’s been with me through everything. He’s only 7 years old, full of energy, personality, and love. It’s devastating to see him unable to do the simple things he used to love — like chasing his ball, going on walks, or even greeting me at the door.

Right now, Ashen urgently needs:

Double ACL surgery

Post-op care and physical therapy

Medication and follow-up visits during recovery

The total cost is $10,000, and I can’t afford it alone. As much as it hurts to ask, I’m reaching out for help to give Ashen the care he needs to get his life back.
