Hi, my name is Nakita Carter and I'm fundraising on behalf of my daughter Ashanti Hill. For those of you who may not know her, let me just say she is one of the kindest and unselfish human beings that I know... and I'm not just saying this because she is my daughter. She is a 23 years old sister, friend and nurse with a positive bubbly spirit that is instantly contagious to anyone who meets her.

Unfortunately, in January 2022 she contracted the Covid-19 virus. Several months later, she continued to have what she thought were just lingering effects of this virus such as constant fatigue and shortness of breath. After several trips back and forth to the various doctors and specialists, Ashanti was subsequently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
