My name is Ashanii, and I hate even having to make this, but right now I truly need help. My grandmother is currently in hospice, and I’m trying to get to her before it’s too late. I’m in a rehabilitation program right now fighting for my life against drug and alcohol addiction, trying to finally break cycles that have wrecked years of my life. Through everything, my grandmother has always loved me, prayed for me, and never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself.
Right now I’m financially devastated. I don’t have the money for a plane ticket there, a flight back, or even a hotel while I’m there. I’m asking for help so I can sit beside my grandmother, hold her hand, tell her I love her, and be present with my family during this painful time. This isn’t about luxury or comfort. It’s about getting one last chance to see someone who means the world to me while I’m also trying to rebuild my own life in recovery.
Any donation, no matter how small, would help cover: emergency plane tickets, hotel expenses, transportation and food while traveling, and a flight back so I can return to treatment and continue my recovery journey. If you can’t donate, please share this. Prayers mean more than you know right now too. I’m trying my best to stay sober, stay alive, and do the next right thing. I just want the chance to see my grandmother before God calls her home. I believe God has given me this opportunity to make amends and be present for my family, and your support is an answer to prayer. Time is running out, and I need help urgently to make this trip before it’s too late.
