My great nephew, Ashai, has been in the Children’s National Hospital CICU since 12/31/24 with Fulminant Myocarditis caused by Adenovirus. His breathing is being supported with a ventilator, his heart is being fully supported by ECMO (for the second time during his course), he has been through a heart catheterization, plasma exchange, and many rounds of treatment targeting the infection and supporting his heart's function. This amazing and strong baby has literally been fighting for his life every day, with the loving support of his parents, family, and friends. The medical team has been taking great care of him, and we are so thankful and grateful for that❤️

This young family has been battling the unthinkable. They could use support to help cover the costs of their bills as they focus their energy on being there for Ashai during this time.
