Hello friends and community!

This is such a vulnerable ask, but I am raising funds for a surgery I need to get on August 13th. I have a polyp I need to get removed, and while my doctor says it's likely it is benign, she would like to have it biopsied just to make sure. It has also been causing me some other health problems that I am looking forward to remedying.

My insurance is only covering a portion of the surgery, so this leaves me with a $1200-$1500 bill out of pocket, on top of my doctor's request for me to take time off of work to heal. I am hoping to raise $2500, which covers the basics of surgery and for missed work, so that I am able to have some peace of mind during recovery and am not scrambling to make up for lost income when I am recovered.

It's hard for me to ask for help, so here I am doing my best!
