Our Story -
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. My baby boy, Ash, is about to turn 4 years old, and instead of planning a birthday party, we’ve been fighting for his life.
Recently, Ash had to undergo emergency surgery for a foreign body blockage. It has been an absolute rollercoaster. While the surgery itself was a success, he faced terrifying setbacks with severe dehydration. There was a moment when we truly thought we might lose him—it was touch and go for a while—but he is a fighter. Ash is finally on the road to recovery, but the journey has left us in a position I never imagined we’d be in.
The Reality We Faced -
Watching your child suffer is a nightmare. What made it even harder was the financial side of emergency vet care. To keep him alive, I had to make the agonizing choice to decline certain treatments and diagnostic steps that would have made his recovery smoother and less painful, simply because the costs were completely out of reach. Even after making those heartbreaking "budget" decisions, the total bill has climbed to $6,000.
About Ash -
If you’ve met him, you know Ash is the definition of a "the most loving, cuddly, fat boy." He’s the sweetest soul who loves everyone he meets, and he’s known for jumping on your lap even though he’s a bit big for a lap cat, and looking up at you with the sweetest eyes for loving. Back at home, his sister Luna is pacing the floors, waiting for her big brother to come through the door so they can nap and play together again.
How You Can Help -
I am doing everything I can to manage these costs, but the $6,000 debt is mind-blowing and overwhelming. I want to focus on Ash's recovery and getting him healthy for his 4th birthday, rather than drowning in this financial weight.
If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to our little family. If you can’t donate, sharing this link with your friends and family is just as powerful.
Thank you for reading, for your prayers, and for helping me bring my sweet boy home.
With love and gratitude,
Bryan, Linda, Ash, and Luna
