Help Ash kick FIP in the butt

Hi friends, family and animal lovers, Ash is our first kitty, and our best friend. He’s only a year and a half and he has been diagnosed with FIP- Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Sadly, FIP is a fatal disease that can only be cured with treatment.

Ash became sick and we didn’t know what was wrong with him. We’ve already spent thousands of dollars with him being hospitalized, running X-rays, Ultrasounds, an MRI, bloodwork, medicine and so many other tests.

It wasn’t until his back legs became became paralyzed that the doctors mentioned it could be FIP. Since he was diagnosed so late we are now we are giving him double the dosage of GS (FIP treatment) which is very costly. Time is of the essence to keep Ash alive. Ash is unable to urinate and defecate on his own so he is in the hospital with a urinary catheter.

Treatment is focused on managing symptoms and improving his quality of life. The treatment for FIP is very expensive, and many cat owners such as myself struggle to afford it. It has taken multiple weeks of testing and almost $7,500 to obtain this diagnosis. Ash now needs urgent treatment to survive this otherwise fatal disease. We are struggling to pay for the treatment of this disease on top of thousands of dollars in medical bills and we desperately don’t want lose our precious baby who should still have many years ahead of him.

If you’ve ever met Ash you would know that he is the sweetest boy ever. He has brought so much love and joy to our lives. We would be so devastated to lose him.
