Help Ash and 11 month old Baby J Live in Safety

Hi everyone!

I am making this GoFundMe to support my dear friend Ash Lee and her 11-month-old son, Baby J, who recently left a domestic violence situation.

Ash was in a very abusive marriage and was able to escape when Baby J was four months old. Ash has been working to come to terms with the trauma she has experienced while also supporting and raising her beloved son. She was recently diagnosed with PTSD and has been coming to terms with the violence that she has experienced and escaped to protect her son. Ash has recently lost her job due to the requirements of getting emergency custody of Baby J through the courts. As she says, “It’s super hard to even ask for help. I’ve rejected a lot of it initially because I didn’t feel deserving. However, at this point, I’ve reached a point of desperation where I am financially buried and struggling to have any means of paying rent after this month or supply formula, food.” She is not receiving any child support and any support we all can give her will be so important.

Ash and Baby J need their community to come stand with them as they achieve the life they deserve, full of love, safety, life, and joy.
