Emergency surgery funds needed for Siberian husky who was abused by previous adopters.
This is Asani, she’s a Siberian husky who is raised to be a breeder for a puppy mill. She was adopted after the Humane Society intervened. Unfortunately, the people who adopted her abused her by hitting her on the head so hard her retina was detached. The Humane Society took her back.
We adopted her and are her forever family. Asani has been with us for two years. Six months ago she started showing a huge eye bulge during grooming and during playtime when ever her blood pressure got high. The groomer won’t see her again due to fear her eye will pop out. She is in desperate need of surgery to prevent this happening. Her lack of depth perception causes her to bang into furniture. The vet said this is the most painful eye problem.
We have called around and looked into low income options and have found a vet that’s given us a good quote unfortunately the surgery is very expensive which is why we are asking all of you to help us raise the funds to help Asani have her eye removed before it pops out.
My name is Jamie and I live with my two sons, and like Asani
I’m also a survivor of trauma. Asani has a deep understanding of how I feel. She is able to bring my medication’s to me when I’m having anxiety. She has grown into becoming my service dog. I have some disabilities and I’m low income, and I want to do everything I can to take care of my beautiful companion.
She is protection and love to our family, and we want to do the same. The surgery will remove her eye and end her suffering and being in pain. We are both still young and want to embark on life’s journey together having fun. And this is all she needs to ensure her total health.
Please share this to anyone you can as it’s a pressing need this
surgery happen as soon as possible.
As a person of faith, I believe in the power of community and prayer. thank you for everyone who’s read this far and who cares about animals. We know any help that we receive will be able to pay it forward. Thank you so much for your donations.
